Into the Darkness (2011 Film)

Into the Darkness is a horror/thriller film currently in production and set to be released in March 2011 which features a brilliant unexpected twist at the end.

Premise: A group of friends descend upon a remote wilderness area in celebration of Ridge and Allie's return after a year spent out West. Their decision to embark on a short exploration of a nearby cave turns into a horrific struggle for survival.

Tagline: Can they find the light before the darkness finds them?

Starring:  Kiowa Gordon (Twilight Saga: New Moon),  Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Wolfgang Weber (Nip/Tuck, CSI: Miami), Austrian actress Dalal Bruchmann, Anna Enger (Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva), and Film Threat Magazine's "Indie Actor to Watch" Russ Russo.

Also starring: Darian O'Rear, and Ronnie Patel.

The film was written by "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" and "Get Low" actress Jade Moser and producer Paul Moser.

The film is being produced by Moser Productions LLC in association with Chain Gang Films. Paul Moser and Brad Thornton are the producers of the film. Joel Bender is now, officially, signed on to direct.

Film poster art was created by photographer, Ford Fairchild, with additional images by Tim Curtis. The promo/teaser trailer will be released in two weeks. Principal photography begins in May 2010. The film is set to release March 2011. Filming will take place in Tennessee.
